This is a company offering subjects wishing to advertise their product/name on the website of affiliates (a commission is paid to the company and to the owner of the website the product/name is advertised on). I had previously asked an (Italian) IT programmer for an explanation but he had never come across the word before.
Here is another sentence "Il Mercante acquisisce il diritto di proporre agli affiliate la propria **Creativita'** sui siti web di questi ultimi (attraverso banner, links etc)."
I was told the customer 'complained' about a previous translation related to this one and had to have it 'proofread by a professional' but they have refused to supply the corrected version, despite my stating clearly I had been unable to find the exact translation of the word and wanted to discuss it.
Any ideas? Thank you!

Una creatività (creatives) non è altro che un elemento (grafico, flash, testuale, HTML) che corrisponde ad un banner.

I can't get the link to work but if you put the phrase in Google, you'll see it.

agree  Michael Brennen: A friend in the interactive industry (who has worked in an ad company) confirms that a deliverable such as artwork, a letterhead, etc. can be a "creative". He is checking other uses. PS: He did confirm ad use, also http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Creative
