Fasce tampone filtranti e corridoi ecologici

Le fasce tampone sono impianti lineari (mono o plurifilari) di vegetazione arborea e/o arbustiva, collocati solitamente in prossimità dei corsi d’acqua a margine degli appezzamenti coltivati.
L’effetto positivo sull’ambiente da parte delle fasce tampone (buffer zones) si esplica principalmente attraverso l’intercettazione degli inquinanti tramite l’attività microbica e la filtrazione delle acque di dilavamento agricole prima che queste raggiungano i corpi idrici. Le fasce tampone esplicano al contempo ulteriori effetti ecologici, paesaggistici e socio-economici di grande interesse:
