Italian term or phrase: dente della mostrina
This is from a set of notes provided by the manufacturer for correcting defects on a backrest (e.g. removing burrs, rings and various production marks). I have no more context.

I'm not quite sure how to translate this term. I have checked the glossary but none of the translations for 'mostrina' seem to fit the context here. I've thought of the 'tooth of the plate' but as I say I'm not at all sure about it and would appreciate any confirmation/alternatives. TIA

English translation:facing tab
Explanation:
Just a guess, 'mostrina' can be lots of different things depending on the context and industry. I like 'facing' as opposed to 'plate' because the word 'mostrina' is usually used for visible parts (in mostra), and while 'plate' is quite specific (gives me the idea of metal plating), 'facing' is more generic, conveys the idea of being visible on the outside of the object, and can be applied to anything from fabric to plastic to metal.
