Italian term or phrase: caperchio
Il rivestimento è costituito da una prima parte di imbottitura realizzata in caperchio e una seconda in vegetale e crine animale.

It is a description of the furniture (in particular a sofa and two armchairs) designed by the architect Guglielmo Ulrich for a building in EUR, Rome.

I have no idea whether "caperchio" is a typo (there are others in the text so it might be). Anybody have any ideas? Will try and contact the customer, but I don't know if they are closed for New Year...
