Explanation:
These are the evenly spaced floats which suspend the drag netting in water. 'lima da sugheri' is also used sometimes for individual cork floats - sometimes known as 'bobbers' or even 'buoys'. Lima in general would be like a file or rasp for wood, as the lima refers to the evenly spaced teeth and grooves - like on a hair comb. These pieces of cork are usually evenly spaced in a row or single 'file'. See the right side of the image I referenced.
