Italian term or phrase: Concessionario di vendita
This term is used in a document on the labelling for a medicinal product. It comes under the same heading as the marketing authorisation holder but the company is different to the one listed as the MAH.

"11. NOME E INDIRIZZO DEL TITOLARE DELL’AUTORIZZAZIONE ALL’IMMISSIONE IN COMMERCIO

Titolare AIC:
XXX

Concessionario di vendita:
XXX"

From my experience, it is the MAH who sells the medicinal products for which it has authorisation but it looks as though they can give out some rights to other companies. Does anyone know how to say this in English?

(named) distributor
Explanation:
My suggestion.
"A named distributor is approved as part of a product’s marketing authorisation (MA), so that their name and address can appear on the labels instead of the MAH name and address, ie. ‘distributed by …’, instead of the MAH name and address, ie. ‘Marketing Authorisation Holder …’

In the first reference you can find a description of the differences between a MAH and a distributor (about veterinary medicines)
In the second reference there is a detailed description of the differences between wholesalers ("grossista"), distributor and retailer.
