she doesn't know what team she's playing for Explanation: The metaphor of "playing for a team" is sometimes used for sexual orientation, but I can also see it being used for gender itself. I looked for the pertinent Seinfeld clip, but couldn't find it right off. If you use the "coming or going" version, leave out "even" -- it's redundant and weakens the effect. |
