robust Explanation: robust is a lovely word You might also want to try "heavyset" or "stout" or "portly" or "corpulent" or "bulky" It's kind of hard to choose the right word without seeing the person (and the text). If necessary, you'll have to use your imagination to conjure up an image of him in your mind, before you decide which word is best. |

big/heavy Explanation: If you mean the amount of body fat...ah, I would say a big person, a heavy, even large. Robust, in my opinion, refers more to the persons strength and health. |
