What does the word Shea mean in Hebrew. I understand it translates to "Asked for". Is there any evidence that this is true?

Thank You!

Sha'al = asked

Explanation:
NOT 'asked for', which is 'bikesh', although in the Bible you will find 'sha'al' = asked for. It's literary/archaic.

Similarly, the modern term 'bakasha' (request) is also 'mish'ala', but this is very literary.

The above are in the masculine singular.
