I'd like to make sure what ανάπτυγμα means here.
The word "development" or "extension" on its own doesn't seem adequate to convey the meaning.

Maybe there is a better english term for this, but what is meant is the actual length of the rail, as opposed to e.g. distance Koropi-Laurio, the distance between the end-points.

Thank you. I think they simply mean "length" here. In some contexts, it would be possible to refer to a particular "stretch" of line... but whether it's "length" or "stretch", the word seems rather redundant here.

Notes to answerer
Asker: This makes sense to me: the length of track. Ι was wondering if they could mean the total length of single track, i.e. the length of one single track plus the length of the other single track - but this doesn't seem very likely, given the form of wording used: χλμ. ΔΙΠΛΗΣ γραμμής.
