Greek term or phrase: μεταβλητές ενδείξεις - σταθερές ενδείξεις
On the off-chance someone is up (job has to be done before the morning!). Context is laser engraving. Later on the text also mentions 'σταθερές ενδείξεις'. The two seem to be in contrast to each other.

The only thing I can come up with via research is "variable" and "stable" signs. Signs could make sense in context, but variable and stable don't (at least not to me).

μεταβλητές ενδείξεις appears as part of the section title in the first instance.

Any help most welcome. I can't reveal more text due to confidentiality.

Explanation:
In case your laser engraving is being used for ID printing, then the identity card headings and the personalisation of the document (biodata) are called 'σταθερές και μεταβλητές ενδείξεις':

So the correct answer depends on your context.

The Greek words ‘ένδειξη’ and ‘ενδείξεις’ are often translated as ‘reading’ or ‘readings’, see;

Needless to say, instead of variable or inconsistent, you could say varying, inconstant, changing or irregular, and instead of consistent or stable, you could say constant.
