Explanation:
Rania is indeed an Indian name.

However, it is also the short form of the name Urania (Ourania) in Greek. Urania was the muse of astronomy in Greek mythology(www.eliki.com/portals/fantasy/circle/urania.html).

By the way Urania coms from Uran\'os (sky, heaven) so it is the woman that comes from the sky or from the heaven or at least looks like she does.

Heaven, Queen, Contented, Song of the Lord

Explanation:
There are many different sources and meanings to our name. In Hebrew it means "song of the Lord". In Arabic it means "contented". In Hindi, like most know, it means "Queen". and I'm not sure about this one but I think it means "Heaven" in Greek. Someone once told me it meant "To yearn for" in Egyptian -- haven't found any evidence of this though.
