agree  Dave Bindon: Or 'verified' (I always use 'confirmed' but felt like throwing in an alternative). The 'δηλωσα...' quoted by Mina allows for the bride to register the marriage (the certificate would actually be «βεβαιώθηκε από τ... δηλώσα ...» (standard in Thera in 2005)
