DIGENIS (GRIVAS?) Explanation: The Byzantine hero died at 33 (like Alexander the Great or Jesus). Perhaps the old man is Georgios Grivas Digenis (1897 - 1974) http://us.geocities.com/helleniccyprus/grivas.html |
