Es gelingt mir nicht, segmentierend vernünftig im Satz unterzubringen:

Dabei besteht die Aufgabe darin, die staatliche Innensicht auf Mobilität und Migration zu öffnen, den "methodologischen Nationalismus" zu überwinden und die ***segmentierende Kategorisierung*** mobiler Personen und die damit verknüpfte Bildungsungleichheit zur zentralen Thematik von Bildungsprozessen zu machen.

Aus dem Kontext geht hervor, dass die Prozesse der Segmentierung und Kategorisierung gleichzeitig und von einander abhängig ablaufen.

Creo que el adjetivo >segregante< no está aceptado, si no, lo pondría.
Comparando la entrada de >segmentieren< en el Duden y la entrada de >segregar< en el DLE parece haber correspondencia.
