"Um 100 t Formstahl herstellen zu können, benötigen wir 110 t Schrott. Diese
10 t bezeichnen wir als Übereinsatz."

A tradução literal seria "excesso" ou "quantidade utilizada em excesso".

Não encontrei termo exatamente igual. Nos textos da área fala-se muito em aproveitamento (raciocínio inverso) e também em "perda(s)".

"O processo é caracterizado por perdas de 10%." -- bateria, por exemplo, com a explicação acima.
