Das Schraubengeräusch des Tankers breitet sich nicht in alle Richtungen
gleich aus, nach achteraus und querab ist es natürlich laut, aber in
direkt voraus nahe der Wasseroberfläche kommt wohl sehr wenig an. Die
Fahrtwelle spielt kaum eine Rolle, die geht im sonstigen
Seegangsgeräusch unter oder wird gefiltert, weil sie von Seegang nicht
zu unterscheiden ist.

E' inteso il rumore dell'elica che non si irradia in tutte le direzioni omogeneamente, laddove in direzione della poppa e al traverso è naturalmente forte, ma di prua, vicino alla superficie dell'acqua è leggero.
