Jedes der recht und links an der Karosserie des Mähdreschers angebrachten **Raupenschiffe** umfasst einen Laufwerkswagen, der um eine Achse, die sich in Querrichtung der Mähdrescherkarosserie erstreckt, an diese schwenkbar angelenkt ist.
