Il s'agit d'une machine d'impression (rotative à bobines) qui comporte une "Achterturm" pourvue de quatre groupes d'impression. Comme chaque groupe possède deux cylindres de blanchet et deux cylindres porte-plaque, le nom "Achterturm" a un rapport avec le chiffre huit. Turm se traduit dans une telle machine par "colonne d'impression". Mais je ne trouve pas de terme spécifique pour Achterturm.

For instance, the term Achterturm and its English equivalent four-high tower describe the design of a printing press. Although both terms are defined by the structural design of KBA CORTINA, different components are terminologically emphasized in the source and target culture.

In general, in a four-high tower four double printing units are vertically arranged to produce a four-color perfecting. The top and bottom of web is simultaneously printed, therefore blanket-to-blanket. The German term Achterturm is defined by the eight blanket cylinders. Each of the four double printing units (cyan, magenta, yellow and black) consists of two blanket cylinders through which the web is vertically guided:

Merci beaucoup, Alexandra, belle recherche, et des références qui m'aident beaucoup. En fait j'emploie généralement le terme "colonne", mais "tour" convient aussi. Tu peux valider pour le glossaire "tour à huit encrages", c'est techniquement exact. D'ailleurs la deuxième référence est très bien traduite (si tant est que ce soit une traduction, ce que je pense).
