In den letzten 2 Wochen erhalten die Kälber nur noch wenig Milch. Einige setzen sich so selber ab; sie fressen das Grundfutter in der Krippe, das ins Fressgitter vorgelegt wurde und rühren die Milch im Nuckeleimer nicht mehr an. Pro Kalb werden etwa 900 Liter Milch verfüttert.

Dans les dernières deux semaines, les veaux ne reçoivent plus que très peu de lait. Certains se sèvrent ainsi tous seuls ; ils mangent le fourrage de base donné en crèche qui est placé dans le cornadis et ne touchent plus le lait dans le seau à tétine. On utilise environ 900 litres de lait par veau.
