Je serais assez favorable à détracteurs, même si on ne conserve pas l'idée d'élection, afin de faire le lien avec le terme Anhänger (partisans). Du reste, les élections sont certainement mentionnées par ailleurs.

Sylvain Leray: j'aurais compris Wahlkämpfer dans le sens de : ceux qui font campagne pour lui, donc avec lui. Mais vu sous cet angle c'est aussi plausible, si on prend Kämpfer au sens propre...
