(dog) biting lice, order mallophaga
Explanation:
Dog biting louse is correct, I'm just answering to explain the difference between Laeuse (sucking lice, order anoplura) and Haarlinge (biting or chewing lice, order mallophaga). Both insects are commonly known simply as lice in English, and both are parasites. Some entomologists lump both types as suborders under the name phthiraptera, others separate the two into different orders (anoplura and mallophaga). Sucking lice (anoplura) have sucking mouthpouts and feed on blood, biting or chewing lice have biting jaws and feed mainly on skin and hair/feathers. They are also known as bird lice because most of the lice found on birds and poultry are of this type, however, as you see, some mallophaga lice also feed on mammals. And as the article says, most species are very host specific, the lice that attack humans, Pthiris pubis (crabs) and the head and body subspecies of Pediculis humanis, are different species of the order anoplura.
