Thanks for the picture. Also, I'd like to add that you were the first talking about a patch and I entirely agree. In my view, you are also right about this being somewhat of a path leading to and from the sauna (so Aida's suggestion isn't that far-fetched) and about not being constrained by the source language.
But what about the target language and target audience? First, I've never seen "barefoot floor" as a colloquation anywhere, except for "Barefoot Flooring" in the form of a company name.
Second, I would be very hesitant to draw attention to the fact they want you to walk around barefoot in a hotel room. Many people don't because: hygiene. I do wonder how they clean this patch, since you got no idea what the people before you did in this sauna...
Third, the page may be in English, but it's a hotel website, as you pointed out. In short, you may want to regard this one as the "international" page, so any capitalized Sensations would look odd to me (in Germany, that's used for cat food these days). I find sensory interesting--aren't ENS so fond of experience, e.g. driving experience, user experience...? Or maybe "senses."
