Event accommodation deal/package Explanation: Hi, I translate quite a lot of tourism texts and "Erlebnis-" is a FAVOURITE among the DE copywriters! I go by the context - very often it translates well as "adventure package", or something similar (e.g. when activities are involved, such as mountain biking or hiking) , but in your case I would use the event itself to guide me - you could simply say "trade fair accommodation package" (or deal or package deal or special offer...). As far as I am concerned, "Erlebnis" here means simply the "experience of attending the fair" - i.e. the "event". I NEVER translate "Erlebnis" in this case with "experience". It just doesn't ring true. Hope this helps a bit. |
