German term or phrase: Gabelflüge
In a chart listing a tour operator's services along with "Option gebrochene Aufenthaltsdauer"

I seem to remember vaguely that Gabelflüge might mean "one-way flights" or that one can book flights with odd "legs."

Would be grateful for any pointers on the proper terms.

open jaw
Explanation:
"Gabelflug
Open Jaw, Sie fliegen von einem anderen Ort zurück, als von dem an dem Sie gelandet sind. (z.B. Hinflug nach Los Angeles und der Rückflug von Los Angeles oder Flugstrecke hin: Frankfurt - Orlando und Flugstrecke zurück: Miami - Frankfurt.)"

and
"The Open Jaw
An open-jaw flight is one that, in the simplest terms, flies from Point A to Point B, then from Point C home to Point A. Points B and C are often neighboring airports, or at least in the same general area. A sample open-jaw itinerary might be Atlanta - Seattle on the way out; Portland, OR - Atlanta on the way back.

Another open-jaw scenario: you fly into and out of the same destination city, but your starting and finishing points are different, thus: Fly Point A to Point B; then fly Point B to Point C."

I guess I\'d use \"broken stay\" or something along those lines for \"gebrochene Aufenthaltsdauer\"

Explanation:
just confirming Alison's excellent take after I erroneously entered "broken jaw" instead of "open jaw", sorry
