XX besitzt als Marktführer im Markt der Ferienparks ein positives Image. Somit ist ein gewisser Imagetransfer auf Y und die Region zu erwarten. Es ist davon auszugehen, dass XX (bei den Bevölkerungsteilen, die noch nicht den Urlaub dort verbracht haben) einen eher guten Ruf hat. Bei den Nutzern wird XX lt. Befragungen ebenfalls positiv gesehen. Als bedeutsamer für das Image der Region rund um Bispingen wird die Vielfalt an Attraktionen gesehen, die bereits zu einer Etablierung der Region als Erlebnisdestination geführt hat und die in der Gesamtheit eine hohe Zahl an Tages- und Übernachtungsgäste anzieht. XX kann hierbei durchaus als ein wesentlicher Baustein in dieser Tourismusdestination eingestuft werden. Zur Stärkung der Gesamtregion existiert eine sog. Business Group in der sich neben dem Bürgermeister auch die Geschäftsführer der großen Freizeitanlagen der Region austauschen. Die Zusammenarbeit wird positiv gesehen, wenn auch XX aufgrund der eigeninduzierten Besuche und Eigenständigkeit eine autarkere Rolle einnimmt.

Just a suggestion, though there may be an industry-specific term that would work better. I would follow it with 'autonomy' for 'Eigenständigkeit', to avoid repetition.

I agree with Trinh Do that 'eigen' can mean 'self', but I think all in all I would rewrite the sentence to avoid a clunky un-English sounding sentence. Perhaps 'due to the visitor numbers which they had generated independently and their autonomy [of action] ....'
