This word appears in a list of components for a party tent. Other components include a "Mittenverbinder" and "Eckverbindungen". Reading a little bit ahead, I see "Dachgestell" comes up on its own, e.g.:

"1. Grundgestell fest zusammenstecken.
2. Dachgestell fest zusammenstecken. Dach- und Grundgestell fest zusammenstecken.
3. Zeltdach über das Dachgestell legen."

So there seems to be a "Grundgestell" and a "Dachgestell", and this "Dachgestell" has a Verbinder. From research of individual components, I have guessed at "roof frame connector", but this doesn't get any hits. Mind you, the German word itself gets no hits either. I don't go camping, so don't know enough about tents to be able to guess what exactly this might be. Mind you, this is a party tent, so rather bigger than your standard camping tent. Any ideas of a good standard English term here? TIA for your help.
