This hotel offers all-organic food and rooms with untreated wood. I'm not sure what this is called in English. Any suggestions?

Pro-organic hotel, maybe?

...there are lots of Google hits for "eco hotel." Here are a few:

I absolutely agree that if it is a proper name it should stay as is, but when I saw "Bio-Hotel" it immediately brought to my mind all those other German words with "Bio": Bio-Laden, Bio-Lebensmittel, etc. I was assuming that if Tegan Raleigh were asking this question it must not be a proper name. If you google "Biohotel" there are lots of places using it not as a proper noun but as a regular noun: e.g.

www.biohotel-alpenrose.at/

Biohotel Pausnhof. Erleben und Genießen in Deutschlands erstem ...
www.pausnhof.de/

Biohotel Sommerau - Biohotels, Nichtraucher, Vegetarisch ...
www.biohotel-sommerau.at/

So I suppose the asker should confirm with her client whether or not this is a proper name.

Regarding "economy"--I suppose that's possible, but when I see "eco" I think of ecology first--for something economical I would expect the short form "econo."

in context, it appears to not be a brand name, but a more general phenomenon...

neutral  writeaway: not 'akin' to a brand name, it is a brand name and so shouldn't be translated: www.biohotels.info/e/7739/index_en

agree  Bjørn Anthun: Sure, there are brands called biohotels.com etc., however it's not necessarily a brand name if a hotel calls itself a Bio-Hotel. In the US, it's usually something with 'organic' or 'green' (e.g. Built Green, Green Hotels Association, Travel Organic, etc.)

neutral  Steven Sidore: I wouldn't have come up with this, but it's a good solution//They're right, it is a brand name, so I'm bumping down to neutral.

neutral  writeaway: but could also mean economy hotel......... anyway, seems it's a proper name and shouldn't be translated: www.biohotels.info/e/7739/index_en

neutral  Francis Lee (X): could refer to "economy" or also "eco" in the sense of eco-tourism (i.e. sustainable t., which makes this place look like an Ibis)
