  -> Yes, it may be both, but that's not quite clear from the context.
agree  Victor Dewsbery: The "Brauhaus" in Berlin-Spandau is a pub (although it does brew beer itself, but as far as I know it is only for use in its own pub and not for delivery elsewhere. In your context I think "pub would fit best anyway.

@ian: if you google brauhaus you will find the brauhäuser which server their own brewed beers (schadts in braunschweig with thoses lovely copper kettles is to be recommended as is websters in duisburg - it's just better and not mass-produced)
