WANDERUNG ZUM REEDSEE (Bergwanderung) schwierig ca. 5 Stunden.
Die Wanderung beginnt beim Hoteldorf Grüner Baum. Von dort geht's Richtung Alpengasthof
Prossau. Nach etwa einer halben Stunde zweigt man rechts ab. Von da führt der Weg rasch über
den Nordhang bergauf. Nach etwa 2 Stunden Gehzeit erreicht man den malerischen Reedsee.
Dies ist auch der richtige Platz für eine stärkende Rast (hier gibt es keine bewirtschaftete Hütte -
Proviant mitnehmen!), bevor man weiter bergauf zur Palfnerscharte wandert (2.321 m). Auf dem
Weg zum Palfnersee wird man auf beiden Seiten von imposanten Felsabstürzen des Graukogels
und des Feuersangs begleitet. Bergab kann man den Graukogelsessellift nützen.

This is a deduction more than anything, based on the fact that the translation of Absturz is precipice. Might Felsabstürzen be Austrian dialect? The term Felsabsturz also seems to exist (and I'm assuming this means the same thing)
