Hi Ramey, thanks for your help, also to the others. I wasn't sure about the exact composition of the product, and this was another translation with a short deadline. Extract or balm might have worked too, or just "arnica massage" as Phil Goddard suggested.

Grundsätzlich ist ein wichtiger Unterschied die Konsistenz der Produkte. Lotion ist flüssiger als Milch und Milch ist flüssiger als Creme. Das sollte man beachten, wenn man seinen Badezimmerboden nicht direkt mit eincremen und die Flasche in einem Schwung leermachen möchte. ;-)

LOTION
Wenden wir uns zunächst der Lotion zu. Unter dieser versteht man eine Öl-in-Wasser Emulsion. Das heißt, dass das Öl im Wasser fein verteilt ist. Dadurch spendet sie der Haut intensive Feuchtigkeit und hat einen angenehmen kühlenden Effekt. Das kann man besonders gut im Sommer und nach einem Sonnenbad gebrauchen.

MILCH
Die Körpermilch ist eine etwas reichhaltigere Körperpflege. Sie besitzt einen höheren Fettanteil als eine Lotion. Trotzdem kann die Milch schnell in die Haut einziehen und gibt Feuchtigkeit.
Je nach Reichhaltigkeit ist die Körpermilch für normale oder trockene Hautzustände geeignet.

CREME
Last but not least die Creme. Auch diese ist eine Öl-in-Wasser Emulsion. Meist nutzt man Cremes also, wenn man eher trockene Haut hat - gerne auch nach dem Baden oder in der kalten Jahreszeit.

Bodylotion oder Bodymilk? Was ist am besten geeignet?
Der hauptsächliche Unterschied der beiden Pflegeprodukte liegt im Wasser-Fett-Anteil. Die Bodymilk ist eine reichhaltige Emulsion, die über einen hohen Fettgehalt verfügt, während die Bodylotion mit einem hohen Gehalt an Wasser viel Feuchtigkeit spendet. Körpermilch gibt ebenfalls Feuchtigkeit an die Haut ab und zieht schnell ein. Sie beinhaltet intensive Pflegestoffe und enthält meist Karité, das sich auf die Haut von Grund auf regenerierend auswirkt. Micro-Fruchtöl gibt der Haut ebenfalls einen lang anhaltenden Schutz. Bodymilk ist das reichhaltigere Produkt und wird eher bei einem trockenen Hauttyp verwendet. Aufgrund des höheren Fettgehalts versorgt sie die Haut länger mit Feuchtigkeit, als die Lotion. Die Lotion wirkt nach dem Auftragen kühlend. Dieser Kühleffekt entsteht durch das verdunstete Wasser. Deshalb werden Lotions oft auch im Sommer vorgezogen, weil der Kühleffekt besonders nach einem Sonnenbad sehr angenehm ist.
