Would this also be called a "pit" as in car racing, or is there a special term for this for cycling road races? Or is it really just "box"? I checked numerous glossaries, both general and cycling, but had no luck with this.

I can't confirm that this is what they're regularly called, but it seems like an accurate descriptive term for of a sort of mini-headquarters for each team.

Thanks to all three of you for your help. I was happiest with Kim's answer , though, precisely for the reason he states: accurate descriptive term. I was unable to warm up to "booth", I'm afraid.

Asker: The problem with "cycling booth" is in most Google references it really means a stand of some kind, as at a fair, not really a place for the team to hang out and follow the race. If someone could provide more convincing references, I'd be happy to use this.
