Yes, Chetan, same as a CT without contrast is normally "ohne KM", but sometimes "Leeraufnahme" is used. I've actually now found enough evidence to convince me that it is a seldom-used term for unstained, I found documents where sections where divided into three parts, 2 with different stains, one without. The one without stain was called the "Leerschnitt", but obviously came from the same specimen, so it has to be an unstained section. There are not a whole lot of documents out there for "Leerschnitt", so it must not be widely used. |
