A certificate issued by an institute reads>>>

What could the term gradientengetrieben in the given context mean? Quick responses appreciated.

Thanks so much in advance! ! !

gradient-dependent
Explanation:
i.e. dependent on the concentration gradient.

"getrieben" or "driven" is one of those irritating buzz words in which a force is implied that is simply not there. It may sound good, but from the scientific point of view it is bunkum. The NMR experiments under discussion are carried out in a particular set of solvent mixtures (usually 2, e.g. polar/non-polar). The solvent mixture is NOT altered as the spectrum is recorded. The resulting spectra are compared to see what effect the solvent has had, if any.

gradient-driven

Explanation:
Motivated by the complicated dynamics observed in simulations and experiments of gradient driven turbulent transport, a simple paradigmatic transport model based on the ideas of self organized criticality (SOC) has been developed and investigated.
