application add-on or module add-on Explanation: SAP often calls the software modules for the various industries (in this case, IS Mill) applications. Zusatz is an add-on, according to SAP's in-house terminology tool. So you have SAP R/3 as the core software, then you add on the application or module (IS Mill) and then you have APO (Advanced Planner and Optimizer) and then the MES (Manufacturing Execution System) as well.
