This might be appropriate - it's certainly what it sounds like to me. A typical shop system will consist of a master till and a number of terminals, with information (sales etc.) entered at the various terminals being collected and coordinated at the master till.

Explanation:
All I could find was cash register - they all sort of imply that data are used when using a cash register.
If you follow the link below, you'll find a cash register patent that talks about the transmission of data between registers but never mentions the word data in the name of the product.
