Aussenkirche outer church Explanation: I found Buitenkerk in Dutch and outer church in English as synonyms for Außenkirche. Here is a possible explanation of the meaning: "The name Buitenkerk (buiten = outside) reminds of the time that this part of Kampen lay outside the walls of the town."
