German term or phrase: Bogensprung
Der Beihefter kann jeweils an einem Bogensprung eingeklebt werden.

Anyone ever come across the term "Bogensprung" in a publishing context (talking about how inserts can be attached to a magazine)? It's not in any dictionary I have.

Thanks.

Explanation:
Sprung here is the seam or spine of the book. Bogensprung means a curved or arched book spine. So the inserts can actually be attached the spine itself. This image in the web reference shows the components of a book (physical).

Seam is one of the translations of sprung: https://www.linguee.com/english-german/search?source=auto&qu...
