English translation: invited to appear

German term or phrase: Angefragt von
This is from book descriptions appearing on a publisher's website. It appears at the bottom of the page, next to the author's bio. The phrase is followed by names of talk shows and magazines, etc.

("Angefragt von:" Super Talk Show, etc.)

Does this mean "as seen on," "as mentioned by," etc."? "Requested by" doesn't seem to make sense.

Thanks!

agree  Katja Dienemann: "Angefragt" definitively implies that the person has been invited but not appeared (yet). I see "Angefragt" quite often in the publicity of conferences when the organizers have not received a confirmation of the speaker etc. yet.
