German term or phrase: gebundene Farben
I am translating a text about colour rendering properties of lighting. I cannot find the correct terminology for "gebunden" in the sense of "gebundene Farben". Google searches for "fixed" or "bound" colours are unconvincing.

Here is a definition

The phenomenon of color constancy best demonstrates that:
A) an object's perceived color is influenced by its surrounding objects.
B) the retina has three types of color receptors.
C) the brain processes information about color and shape simultaneously.
D) quivering eye movements help to maintain the perception of color.

Perceived color depends on the spectral distribution of the color stimulus, on the size, shape, structure and surround of the stimulus area, on the state of adaptation of the observer’s visual system, and on the observer’s experience of the prevailing and similar situations of observation.
Perceived color may appear in several modes of appearance. The names for various modes of appearance are intended to distinguish among qualitative and geometric differences of color perceptions. Modes of color appearance include object-color, surface color, aperture color,
film color, volume color, illuminant color, body color, and Ganzfeld color.

structural colours

Explanation:
Free colours being those caused by pigments, structural colours those being caused by interference (and therefore depend on structure and distance to the object).

Reference information:
Most of the hits for 'gebundene Farben' relate to Farbe in the sense of paint, but the following information may be useful:

Arten der Farbempfindungen
Freie Farben
