Daher wäre auch eine Umschreibung möglich wie: with a focus on economy as regards school autonomy. The Educational Standards in Vocational Education and Training initiative was a major stepping-stone designed to ensure the comparability of learning outcomes in core areas, irrespective of specialised or discretionary (under the school autonomy rule) learning programmes offered at individual schools. (durch bundesweite gültige sowie schulautonome Lehrplanbestimmungen) (by way of curricular rules binding throughout the country as well as by way of discretionary curricular rules) http://www.bmukk.gv.at/medienpool/18679/aen_09_03_59.pdf This site in 3 languages also has a lot of information that may be useful. Specific Profiles The various forms and special types of secondary academic schools constitute a range of options among which students may choose. Within the framework of school autonomy (see above) and pilot projects, the individual schools may modify their curricula and develop their own specific profiles. http://www.bmukk.gv.at/enfr/school/gen_edu/secon.xml Autonomy provides schools and colleges with the opportunity to develop their own profiles and specific priorities, thus meeting the needs and requirements of the industry (deviation from the standard curriculum of up to 5 per cent of the overall number of lessons per week). http://www.bmukk.gv.at/enfr/school/glossary.htm4594.xml#toc3... http://www.bmukk.gv.at/enfr/school/gen_edu/secon.xml You may just about get away with saying something like "with specific emphasis/focus on", although that of course doesn't make it absolutely clear that it is the school's own decision. |
