From a text about electroforming in dentistry. I don't have much of a clue what "Anlagerungsfläche" means. Adsorption surface? Deposition surface even? TIA for helping me find a precise translation for this word.

deposition area
Explanation:
The bridge is comfortable to wear because of the large area over which the cement is deposited.
I would prefer a verbal construction myself.
Alternatively, you might consider "adhesion surface area" or the like, since this is, in effect, what is meant i.e. the cement sticks over a large area, thus distributing the stress.

Another suggestion: application area i.e. the cement is applied over a large surface area

Thanks Robert - that helped a lot. I think I'll use "deposition area" here, though will take your advice about the verbal construction. Appreciate your assistance.
