"Fallbericht

Yet another article about implants. This one has been quite straightforward for the most part (I got nearly halfway through it before coming up against a problem I needed to ask a KudoZ question on). But I don't understand the "-körper" part of "Kieferkörper" here. There are no Google hits for "anterior jaw body". I'm wondering whether I could loosely translate this as anterior region of the jaw? I'm also wondering whether "Kieferkörper" is short for "Unterkieferkörper", which is "mandibular body". But just "jaw body" seems odd to me, and especially "anterior jaw body". TIA for your help.

mandibular body
Explanation:
The key is in the very first sentence: "Stegversorgung des Unterkiefers"
This lets you know that "Kiefer" in this context means "mandible"

I guess it must be mandibular body then, and this does make sense in the context. But I just wanted to be more sure. Thanks Reuben, and thanks also to the peer graders who endorsed this answer. Appreciate your help.
