"Bringen Sie 2 Gußkanäle von 3-3,5 mm in Fließrichtung der Schmelze in der Schleuder, am Ansatz waagrecht, stetig zum Gußtrichter ansteigend, an."

To do with working with dental investment material.

I can't work out what "Ansatz" means here. Base of the centrifuge? Attachment or join of some sort? Deposit of fused material in the centrifuge?

Does anyone have a more definite idea about what it should be? TIA for your help.
