Reference information: Summary This paper describes polysomnographic standards for infants and children that have been determined by the pediatric task force in the German Sleep Society (DGSM). The standards refer to the performance and evaluation of polysomnographic studies. Recommendations are given for environmental and general conditions, as well as obligatory and additional parameters to measure. Comments and recommendations for digital data processing are included. The following parameters of a standard evaluation are discussed: breathing, heart activity, blood gases and sleep state. A differentiation of the parameters is carried out. Definitions are given, and detailed criteria are listed that should be considered for a polysomnographic report. The intention of this paper is to establish standards for comparable performance and evaluation of pediatric polysomnography carried out in different laboratories. Definitionen werden gegeben und Kriterien für die Erstellung eines Befundberichtes genannt. Ziel der Arbeit ist es, Voraussetzungen zu schaffen für vergleichbare Untersuchungen in unterschiedlichen Schlaflaboratorien. |
