PV münden orthotop mit regelrechten Flussgeschwindigkeiten
English translation: PV = Pulmonary veins
10:32 Jan 8, 2014
German to English translations [PRO] Medical - Medical: Cardiology / Echocardiography
German term or phrase:PV münden orthotop mit regelrechten Flussgeschwindigkeiten
AK: Z.n. pAKE, Separation gut erkennbar, etwas turbulanter Fluss über AK, keine relevante AI, kein KM gegeben, PV münden orthotop mit regelrechten Flussgeschwindigkeiten.
What does PV stand for? Several options come to my mind, but would like someone to tell me clearly what the doctor is talking about in this Echocardiography report. Rest of the abbreviations are clear. This patient has undergone a valve replacement.
Susanne I request you to stop this discussion right away. Your approach is very annoying. if you didn't wish to contribute you shouldn't have done so. You weren't forced to. In my initial question I had asked explicitly what PV stands for and I never ever wanted the translation of the entire phrase. Siegfried too asked Murad why brought up that point. Read through the initial part of the discussion. Please do not respond to this. Thanks for your time.
I obviously fail to understand this discussion, too. Siegfried answered your question, so I don't understand why you complain about people losing focus and not answering your question.
You could have asked him to enter his suggestion als an answer, but it seems that you were expecting an explanation/translation for the entire phrase. And if this is the case, Murad wasn't so wrong with this hint (about entering only one term). Wasn't he?
@Susanne Thanks for your comment. I however fail to understand why you raised that point. Does not seem relevant here. Secondly, Siegfried only stated his answer in the discussion entries. He did not enter a formal answer. So how would I choose his response as the best answer even if I wanted to? raptisi has entered the first answer. I would be glad if Siegfried enters a formal answer so that I can give him the credit for it.
What is worrying me even more is that too many people here ask a lot of questions while they care much less about providing help to others and closing their questions. PS. Siegfried answered your question already.
The worrying thing really is that we are simply discussing ways of asking questions on this service. what is right, what is wrong etc, and People seem to have lost focus!! Not a single answer to my question yet?
What I usually do it enter the term I am looking for ( in this case PV) in the subject area, and add the entire sentence (or a paragraph) where it appears for reference in the text box ( what you have done, so no need to restate the entire sentence above)
MUrad, you need to take back / delete your comment

Murad, Did you understand what Siegfried said??? I have asked what PV stands for? However, stating just PV in the term field does not make sense, which is why I added a few more words there. Moreover it need not be a single word. It can also be a phrase. I don't think I have violated the rules. Lemme know what you think.
