Sinus-transversus-Thrombose (transverse sinus thrombosis )

Explanation:
Considering that a Percutaneous Transluminal Angiography is performed, in my opinion it could be Sinus-transversus-Thrombose (transverse sinus thrombosis)

You may find a case report here quoted from an article, of which link you may also find below:
Emergency angiographic assessment performed via the right
common femoral artery and left common femoral vein showed
near complete thrombosis of the superior sagittal sinus and
bilateral transverse sinuses and partial thrombosis of the
straight sinus.

disagree  SJLD: check your acronyms - PTA = angioplasty not angiography - this is more likely to be for the heart than the brain, which is where the transverse sinus lives

neutral  SJLD: a dictionary of german medical acronyms might be more useful here since it's the source language

-> I have found that quite frequently medical acronyms are either based on Latin or just taken over from the English language or viceversa.
