TDI tricuspid lateral annulus velocity Explanation: TDI what Phil said (tissue doppler imaging) The unit cm/s means that this is a velocity. TKR = Trikuspidalklappenring At first glance I thought this was tricuspid regurgitation velocity - but this would not have a normal value of >12 cm/s. This threshold seems to apply to the lateral annulus velocity http://www.springerlink.com/content/q224254323w76378/ http://circ.ahajournals.org/content/113/10/e396.full In adults >30 years old, a lateral Ea velocity >12 cm/s is associated with normal LV diastolic function. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 2 hrs (2011-09-08 17:28:35 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- also "annular velocity" |
