Jede Arbeitsplatz wird mit 3 Bildschirmen ausgestattet, mit denen die Hauptbedienoberflächen angezeigt werden, über die alle Systemfunktionen steuerbar sind. Die 3 Monitore sind über eine Matrix angebunden, sodass jeder Monitor bei Bedarf einzeln für andere Aufgaben umgeschaltet werden kann (zur Zeit separate Absetzung angeboten, könnte auch über Matrix realisiert werden).

I get the gist of this without any difficulty, but have never come across this kind of "Absetzung" and can't (yet) come up with an English word that fits my understanding of the sentence either.

individual/separate set-up

Explanation:
If it has the same meaning as "einen Computer absetzen" and sparat has the meaning of "gesondert". AbsetzUNG is a very uncommon form of absetzen. Absetzung is commonly used in a tax context meaning as deduction, or removal of personell.

Asker: I'd (at least primarily) understand "einen Computer absetzen" as "einen Computer verkaufen", unless on a tax return, as you mention.

Asker: OK, I was thinking along the lines of "Absatzkrise" and would have thought "I still have to set-up my computer" would be "Ich muss meinen Computer noch einrichten". Never come across this usage of "absetzen" before - thanks!
