Für Motoren, die schwer und für den elektrischen Anschluss nur durch Demontage von Anbauteilen zugänglich sind, müssen mit **abgesetzten** bzw. motornahen MOVIMOT® oder MOVI-SWITCH® und motorseitig steckbarem Hybridkabel ausgerüstet werden.

Ich verstehe nicht was in diesem Zusammenhang damit gemeint ist. Die Kudozeinträge haben mir leider auch nicht auf die Sprünge geholfen.

"installed close to the motor" would not work as an adjectival phrase preceding "MOVIMOT" in the sentence you posted, obviously, so remote or even "detached" gets the same idea across.

agree  Gudrun Maydorn (X): Yes, remote and separate are the words used by the manufacturer SEW. In this context abgesetzt and motornah are equivalents. If the motor itself is out of direct reach, the switch needs to be within reach.
